Wakyli is an artist who explores the connection between inner and outer realities. Separated by a thin veil of perception, these two worlds are intimately interconnected, constantly exchanging and redefining one another. Wakyli plays at their intersection, on a constant exploration and contemplation of the human experience. He creates captivating visual and immersive experiences which manifest the quiet energy that moves the heart and the soul.

Merging science, philosophy, mysticism with painting, color, sound, smell and touch, the artist combines various channels of perception to develop a distinct universal language to depict transcendental concepts and metaphysical philosophies in a succinct yet not scaled down manner. Hidden in cultures, traditions, stories, art, songs and prayers, the artist believes our ancestors left behind an endless supply of inspiration for this artistic research. Combining meticulous brush strokes, textures, radial patterns, repetitive shapes, and optical illusions, Wakyli creates intricate and hypnotic visual stories centred around self-discovery, beauty and inner peace.
